The Nirmal Residence is a contemporary luxury home that embodies our philosophy of minimal conviction. Located in the verdant outskirts of New Delhi, this 8,500 sq.ft. residence was designed as a sanctuary — a place where architecture dissolves into landscape.
The design centers on a double-height living volume that opens onto a terraced garden, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Natural materials — exposed concrete, Kota stone, and teak — form the palette, each chosen for its tactile quality and ability to age gracefully.
Key architectural features include a cantilevered master suite, a sunken courtyard with a reflecting pool, and a perforated brick screen wall that filters light into the stairwell, creating ever-changing shadow patterns throughout the day.
The project received the IIID Design Excellence Award in 2024 for its sensitive integration of modern design with the regional climate and context.
